The Job:

The Group Sales Manager plays a key leadership role, mentoring and guiding the team to deliver strong client outcomes while driving sustainable revenue growth across the Sydney market.

This role requires strong commercial judgement, strategic thinking and creative problem solving to shape impactful media solutions from concept through to delivery and ensure partners see measurable value on the biggest screen.

This is a role for a proven sales leader who can:

• Build and deepen senior-level client and agency relationships that translate into long-term revenue growth
• Identify and unlock new commercial opportunities, proactively shaping innovative, saleable solutions
• Lead from the front in high-level negotiations, confidently closing complex deals aligned to business strategy
• Deliver against ambitious revenue targets — both personally and through team performance
• Inspire, mentor and elevate a sales team, lifting capability, accountability and results
• Represent Val Morgan in market, strengthening brand presence through strategic networking and industry engagement

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong understanding of the media landscape and an appreciation for cinema as a premium advertising channel.

As Group Sales Manager you will represent the Val Morgan brand in market while leading the Sydney sales team, setting direction, building capability and driving a high-performance culture that is commercially focused and collaborative.

Val Morgan is known for delivering results in a fast paced and energetic environment. We are looking for a leader who balances ambition with authenticity and drives revenue growth while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.

You will bring more than four years’ experience in media sales, established agency and client relationships, and a proven track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth. Experience leading and developing sales talent is essential, along with confidence navigating senior level negotiations and closing high value deals with professionalism and integrity.
